Hello, and thanks for getting in touch. I should take this opportunity to introduce myself as I am your local community officer. My name is Stuart Johnstone and I've been your community officer since November last year. I'm still trying to get to know people in my community and can only apologise that, for whatever reason, I haven't managed to speak to you yet.

As for the issue at David Sands I'm sorry to hear that your daughter is feeing she can't visit her local shop and I agree large groups of youths congregating can be intimidating. This is an issue which has previously been raised, it's an issue we are all looking at in Kinross and I can assure you that the matter has been passed to me personally to tackle. It may take a little time to solve completely but I have already identified the main culprits who have been misbehaving outside the shop and have addressed them directly. I understand that this won't altogether solve the matter, but I will certainly be monitoring the situation over the coming weeks and months.

Your personal information is obviously protected on the site so I don't know who you are, and as it would appear you would like to know your local officer better can I perhaps ask you to give me a call or pop in to the office, it would be good to be able to say hello. I would also be more than happy to have a chat to your daughter.
